Big Sky, Montana, is a place I keep raving about! If you haven’t visited Big Sky, you’re in for a treat. Trust me, when you come here, you won’t wanna leave.

Here’s why I think it’s one of the BEST places to visit on holiday, and where you should stay when you’re there.

Let me tell you, Big Sky has some of the best haunts that I’ve ever stayed at. Every time I visit, I find new places that make me feel as if I’ve really struck it lucky.

I love the fact that these resorts give you everything you need in one spot – comfort, adventure, and rest. As soon as you check in, you’re good to go for tackling that mountain!

Summit Hotel

Something that really stands out to me when I think about the best resorts in Big Sky, Montana, is the luxury itself. When I first walked into some of these resorts, I could instantly tell they were no ordinary places to stay.

The Scene is modern, yet COZY, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. And don’t even get me started on the gyms. Every resort gives incredible services that help you chill out after a very long day of skiing or hiking. It’s like you’re treated like the king of the hill itself!

I’ve had so many memorable moments at places like the Summit Hotel, which is part of the Big Sky Resort. They really make it so easy to relax and make the most of your time. The service is often ideal, and I’ve met so many genuinely friendly people there.

All the staff at these resorts are just so keen to ensure you’ve a fantastic time, from the concierge to the spa platoon.

What to do

Skiing is practically guaranteed in the winter, but I’ve also spent an AMAZING time in the summer with hiking and mountain biking. There’s always something going on, no matter what the season is. I’ve completed some of the most stunning walks here, especially around Lone Mountain. The view at the top is well worth every step, and I promise you’ll really wanna take your camera out for days!!

Wildlife is really ABUNDANT in Big Sky. Moose and elk appear always, and the natural scenery in the area makes the whole investigation experience exciting.

What’s best for you

One thing I truly love about the resorts in Big Sky is how they cater to all your requirements. Whether you are traveling alone, as a pair, or with your family, there’s a perfect place for you to stay. There are some resorts that have cozy mountain lairs, whilst others have bigger manors for families or groups. All these choices make it much easier to decide what’s best for you. Personally, I have stayed in both sorts of accommodations, and each experience was just amazing.

Ski-out access and kids’ programs will make kids happy while parents relax, making it a great and balanced experience.

The Big Sky Resort

The Big Sky Resort itself is one of the top picks of many people, and it’s easy to see why. The resort itself is huge and has almost everything I need for a fun and RELAXING time.

Skiing? Got it. Fine dining? Got that too. Those very cozy rooms with simply the most views? Got that as well.

I love the fact that I can literally just roll out of bed, hop on the lift, and be right on the slopes in no time. And after a long day of your adventures, nothing beats a nice hot meal at one of their restaurants. I have eaten some of the best food ever here, and it just gets better because of the local ingredients used in every single dish.

Guests who’re looking for rest will see the spas and the heated pools in the Big Sky Resort. End your day if you’ve been out in the mountains all day.
